Chaos in Order, 2024

Striking the right balance between order and chaos. What is the minimum living space required for an individual?
Can our lives truly be contained within such confines?
Can the chaos we flee from in the city give rise to a new order? And where do we find ourselves within this chaos?
Are we even aware of it?
The pursuit of new living spaces and the relentless search that accompanies it. Perceptions that shift endlessly. SABO finds himself trying to carve out a new space between the city and nature. This quest remains constant, even as cities and countries change. He is confronted with indifferent landlords and burdened with signing countless unnecessary documents. In this living labyrinth, the artist and others strive to find the most suitable place to call home—a kind of urban paradise,
pieced together from details like a collage.
A cliché phrase keeps running through his mind: “All we need is a roof over our heads.” A brutally utilitarian statement, stripped of any sense of architecture or design. But no, it’s not enough! It shouldn’t be enough.
When SABO looks at Berlin, he sees an unexpected order—a structure born from chaos. Everything is interwoven,
forming a new language of its own. Graffiti emerges from beneath layers of painted walls, like ancient tattoos resurfacing.
No promises are made; everyone is accustomed to it.
